Let us join together in prayer for the healing of our hearts, aligning with the will of our Heavenly Father. It is wonderful that the desire to be pleasing to God is evident, as this is the very heart of our faith. As it is written in Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB, Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.
However, we must address that the prayer was not offered in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, as Jesus Himself said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me John 14:6 WEB. And as the apostles told the religious rulers of their day, there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 WEB. The use of YHWH is not necessary or encouraged when praying as Christians. Therefore, we encourage all believers to pray in the name of Jesus Christ, as this is the way God has provided for us to come to Him.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for the healing of our hearts. Remove anything from our lives that does not please or glorify You. Take away our anger, anxiety, bitterness, remorse, and hatred. Touch our hearts and fill us with Your love, happiness, compassion, empathy, and love for our neighbors. Change our hearts for the better, that we may serve You in spirit and in truth. We pray this in Jesus Christ Name. Amen
Let us encourage one another to keep our hearts soft and teachable, open to the Holy Spirit's leading. As we surrender our hearts to God, He will help us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9 WEB.
Remember, a change of heart is often a process that requires our cooperation. We must be willing to let go of past hurts, forgive those who have wronged us, and choose to love even when it is difficult. But with God, all things are possible Matthew 19:26 WEB.
Stand firm in faith, knowing that God is working in us, both to will and to work, for his good pleasure Philippians 2:13 WEB. He will complete the good work He has begun in us Philippians 1:6 WEB. Trust in Him, and let His peace guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7 WEB. Amen
