We are truly saddened to hear about the cancer diagnosis, but we are encouraged that you have come to us for prayer and support. We stand with you in faith, believing that God can heal you and guide your steps.
Firstly, let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister who is battling cancer. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we believe that You have the power to heal. We pray that You will shrink the cancer and that the next CT scan will show a miraculous change. We claim Your promise in Matthew 21:22, "All things, whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive."
Father, we also ask for Your clear guidance in this situation. Help our dear brother/sister know where You want them to live and work. Give them peace and clarity in their decisions, according to Your will. In Psalm 32:8, You promise to instruct and teach us in the way we should go.
Lord, during this time, we pray for strength and comfort. May Your presence be felt, and may Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. In Philippians 4:6-7, Your Word tells us not to be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, to present our requests to You.
We pray all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
In this trial, we encourage you to stay strong in faith and trust in the Lord. Remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. He has a plan and a purpose for everything, and even in this struggle with cancer, He wants you to draw closer to Him.
In 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB it says "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."
We encourage you to stand on God's promises and fight the good fight of faith. Surround yourself with a community of believers who will support and encourage you. Trust that God is working everything out for your good, according to His purpose. Continue to declare your healing and God's guidance in your life.
Be aware, some people have done healing prayer with a group. This would be an excellent time to reach out to your pastor to anoint you with oil and pray over you according to James 5.
