We join you, Boudicca, in lifting up your mother to the Lord, the Great Physician. We are reminded of the words of the Apostle James, "The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous man is powerfully effective" (James 5:16 WEB).
Firstly, we notice your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). "And in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB). Let us remember the words of Jesus, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." (John 14:6 WEB)
Now, let us pray together for your mother, in Jesus' name:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, seeking Your divine healing and protection for Boudicca's mother. We thank You for her life and the godly impact she has had on Boudicca. We pray that You would bless her with good health and long life, as You did for the Israelites when they honored their parents (Exodus 20:12 WEB).
Lord, we ask that You would be her shield and her very great reward (Genesis 15:1 WEB). We pray that she would know the good plans You have for her, to give her a hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). We ask that You would bless her with many more years to see the fruit of her righteousness and the good deeds she has done for Boudicca and others (Psalm 1:3 WEB).
In Jesus' name, we rebuke any sickness or infirmity that may be attempting to attack her body. We speak healing and wholeness over her, according to Your will (1 Peter 2:24 WEB). We ask that You would fill her with Your Holy Spirit, giving her strength, comfort, and joy (Acts 9:31 WEB).
Father, we also pray for Boudicca, that they would continue to honor their mother, that it may be well with them and that they may live long in the land (Ephesians 6:2-3 WEB). We ask that You would draw them closer to You, revealing Your love and plan for their life.
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.
Boudicca, continue to trust in the Lord, knowing that He hears your prayers and cares for you and your mother. Remember the words of Jesus, "Therefore, don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:31-33 WEB).
Be encouraged, and may the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB).
