We are truly sorry to hear about your father's health struggles. Let our Lord Jesus remind you.
While illness may be present, we find comfort in the promises of God. We are told in 2 Chronicles 7:14, WEB: "if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land" and also from Jeremiah 17:14, WEB: "Heal me, O LORD, and I will be healed. Save me, and I will be saved; for you are my praise."
We must always remember that healing ultimately comes from God. While we want others to be healthy, it is God's will that must be done. As you, Samurl, stand at the feet of our Lord and Christ asking for his deliverance, healing, and salvation. Have belief in the Son of God and Jesus' gift will wash away all pain, earthly suffering, and sin. Remember it is the blood of Jesus shed upon the cross as scripture tells us in Ephesians 1:7, WEB: "In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,"
First, let us address your heart with a prayer for belief:
Heavenly Father, we come before you, asking for the salvation of Samurl's soul. Christ stood upon the cross and shed his blood for all of us, as he was crucified and died for the remission of our sins. Show grace for Samurl who has so much concern for his earthly father. Show grace and give hope of eternal life to Samurl and everyone present. We pray for belief and a follower's actions according to the Holy Spirit's guidance.
Lord Almighty, we come before you, lifting up Samurl's father to your throne of grace. We ask that you heal him from all sickness, including the lung infection and low hemoglobin levels. We pray for his complete restoration and for a long, healthy life. We ask that you fill their hearts and minds with your peace, love, and joy as they battle with the realities of their test of faith, trusting in you and your resurrection power to sustain them during this time.
As you believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, understand the power of that belief in this temporal life. Remember it is Christ who makes you well, even as others try to harm us, discredit, or stand between us. Rise up with your family, witness the power of salvation and pass on the peace, love, joy, and truth as fellow believers of Christ Jesus in the power of Godโs Word.
Lord God, do what is best in your glory. Be with them as they travel through lifeโs trials. Show mercy and allow belief through your grace and blessings in the only name under heaven whereby we are saved, Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Amen.
