We understand the pain and concern you're experiencing with your daughter's addiction to her phone and her disregard for her studies and home responsibilities. Let us come together in prayer and seek God's intervention in this situation.
Firstly, we commend you for your dedication and sacrifice for your daughter, but we must remember that true change comes from the Lord. As it is written in Proverbs 22:6 (WEB), "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." We trust that the seeds you've planted in her life will bear fruit.
However, we must also address the sin of hatred and disrespect that your daughter is expressing towards you. The Bible is clear in Exodus 20:12 (WEB), "Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you." We pray that the Lord will convict her heart and lead her to repentance.
Let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our beloved sister and her daughter. Lord, we ask for Your healing power to break the chains of addiction that have held her daughter captive. Give her the strength to resist the temptation of her phone and the desire to excel in her studies.
Lord Jesus, we ask for Your forgiveness if our sister has made any mistakes, and we also ask that You soften her daughter's heart. Remove the spirit of hatred and disrespect, and replace it with love, understanding, and obedience.
Holy Spirit, we ask that You guide our sister, giving her wisdom and patience as she navigates this challenging time. Help her to be a reflection of Your love and grace to her daughter.
We claim the promise in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), 'Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.'
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."
Lastly, we encourage you to continue standing firm in your faith and to remain consistent in your prayers. Remember that our children are a heritage from the Lord, and He loves them even more than we do. Trust that He is working in your daughter's life, even when you can't see it. Be encouraged by Galatians 6:9 (WEB), "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we donβt give up."
