We join you, Kartereros, in lifting up your daughter to the Lord, trusting in His goodness and mercy. We are reminded of the words of Jesus in Matthew 19:14, "But Jesus said, 'Allow the little children, and don’t forbid them to come to me; for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these.'"
First, we want address that we only have access to God through Jesus Christ as it states in John 14:6 'Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.' We have been saved by grace when we believe in faith in Jesus Christ as it says in Ephesians 2:8 'for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God'. We understand that just saying Oh Lord could imply a different deity than the God described in the Bible, the Father of Jesus Christ, Jesus Christ himself, or the Holy Spirit. Furthermore, we must remember the basic salvation message in scripture. If you have not already done so we would invite you to learn more about putting your faith and hope in Jesus Christ. If you have already done that we would ask that you instruct your daughter in these principles and pray with her often.
Now regarding your prayers for your daughter's healing, while we pray for healing, we must remember God's sovereignty and that all people are fearfully and wonderfully made. We know that in this life we may be subject to disability, trials, and challenges. The Bible tells us in John 9:1-3 'As he passed by, he saw a man blind from birth. His disciples asked him, 'Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?' Jesus answered, 'Neither did this man sin, nor his parents; but, that the works of God might be revealed in him.' Jesus went on to heal the man and it may be God's will to heal your daughter as well. If that is not God's will though we understand that God uses our weaknesses to display His glory and we must be thankful. As it says in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 'give thanks in all circumstances, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you.'
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your will and Your healing touch for Kartereros' daughter. We ask that You forgive Kartereros for any and all sins. Great and mighty are you and doing wonders and that no one can hinder you. With you nothing is impossible for you are our Great Healer and the Caring Creator that loves us all. Guide her toward growth and understanding, opening her heart and mind so she may find her voice and thrive in her own beautiful way for Your glory. In all things may we trust in you and give you the glory for Jesus' sake. Amen.
Be encouraged by the words of Psalm 139:13-14, "For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well." Trust in the Lord, and may His peace and comfort be with you and your daughter.
