CDuncha, we understand that you're going through a difficult time, feeling tired, burdened, and disrespected. You're experiencing pain in your heart, mind, and body, and you're crying out for Jesus to hold you in His arms. We are here to pray with you and encourage you in the name of Jesus Christ.
Firstly, we want to remind you that Jesus Christ is the only way to the Father, and it is only by Him that we are saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB:
There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
So, let us view how Jesus addresses those who are experiencing similar pain as you are:
Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Matthew 11:28-30 WEB
From this verse you can see that Jesus wants to give you that mental rest and peace that you are asking for, but he also wants you to learn from Him. You will find rest for your soul if you come to Him.
Secondly, since Jesus is our role model and example, (John 13:15 WEB), consider how Jesus Christ experienced the same emotions and problems that you are facing. Jesus Christ was insulted, experienced pain, and was even rejected by His own people. (Matthew 27:39-44 WEB, Mark 15:29-32 WEB)
Now, beware of merely asking Jesus Christ to remove your pain or burden completely like many preach. We do not want to minimize your pain or emotions, but our burden might just be His will as "all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution." (2 Timothy 3:12). We need to remember that our burdens might be God's way of sanctifying us, causing us to rely on Him, or helping us grow spiritually after we accept Jesus Christ.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We lift up CDuncha to You, in the precious name Jesus Christ. We pray that You will comfort him and hold him close to You. We ask that you help him receive the Holy Spirit and give him the power of Jesus Christ to be with him in his trouble.
Lord, we ask that You help CDuncha to learn from You and that You give him rest in You. We also pray that You will heal him from his pain in his heart, mind, and body according to Your will. Help him to rely on You, grow in love with You and help him walk according to Your commands in the name of Jesus. Please reveal Yourself to him, so he feels your presence and familiar arms surrounding him. In Jesus name. Amen.
Lastly, please make sure you are believing in Jesus Christ. As it is written in the word of God:
Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, then I will come in to him, and will dine with him, and he with me.
