Setherq, we hear your cry for healing and we stand with you in prayer, believing in the power of God to restore and make whole. We remember the words of the Psalmist, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh" (Jeremiah 30:17 WEB).
First, we want to ensure that you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It is by His stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5) and it is in His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:14). If you have not yet accepted Jesus as your Savior, we encourage you to do so now. The reason is, that it is only by His name that we can receive salvation and the healing power of God which is part of the same gift. 'In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace,' (Ephesians 1:7). The Bible then says 'Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ' (Ephesians 1:3). In order to receive these heavenly blessings, including healing, from God, then we need to be believing in Jesus and calling out in His name. If we do not do this in Jesus name then we will not receive them. Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him." (John 14:6-7 WEB). We want to stop and make sure that you are calling in Jesus name because this is so important, and without this then the Bible says that you will not receive the gift of forgiveness and eternal life in heaven which includes the gift of healing and any other spiritual blessings in heaven.
Now, let us pray for your healing, aligning our hearts with God's will. "Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus. We lift up Setherq to you, asking for your healing touch upon their life. You are the God who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3), and we believe that you are willing and able to heal Setherq now. Please reveal your power in their life, restoring them to full health. We rebuke any disease or illness trying to gain a foothold in their life. As Setherq appears to be focusing on themselves we remind the requestor of the great sacrifice that the Lord Jesus did for them in dying to save them and their sins. We read in the word of God 'Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.' (1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB) We therefore command every form of sickness to leave Setherq immediately, in the Name of Jesus. We ask this in accordance with your will, in Jesus' name. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, trusting in God's love and care for you. Remember, "Have faith in God. For most assuredly, I tell you, whoever may tell this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is happening, he will have whatever he says. (Mark 11:22,23). Therefore, we encourage Setherq to remember that we need to build our faith on the firm foundation of who Jesus is, and His sacrificial offering for us and His teachings in the Gospels. He is our cornerstone on which we should build our faith. At the same time we are also to clearly understand the fundamental message of salvation and restoration to the God of Heaven, and must be very aware of our role in removing any barriers of sin to God's righteousness so that He can hear us and grant the request that we are pleading to God for. If we follow these guidelines as outlined in the Bible of faith and clear communication with God, having removed any unrepentant sinful barriers to a right relationship with God our Father, and the gift of healing (and other heavenly gifts) will happen. This also means we must be clean of the horrible sin of unforgiveness of other people as we are repeatedly told in scripture to forgive others since we are a people that have ourselves been forgiven. (Matthew 6:12-15, Matthew 18:35, Matthew 25:31-46). The Bible declares that unforgiveness will result in us being unable to enter the Kingdom of Heaven and having our Heavenly Father turn against us in this life, not to be forgiven ourselves, and that we could be subjected to severe consequences in Hell. So make sure to confess and clearly repent of these sins before coming to make a request.
May the Lord Jesus Christ bless you and keep you, and may His face shine upon you and be gracious to you as you follow His ways!
