Let us bring your request before the Lord together, ###. We are reminded of God's promise in Psalm 103:2-3 WEB: "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."
Before we pray, we want to ensure that you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we can approach God the Father and receive His blessings. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." If you haven't already, consider believing in His name and being baptized for the forgiveness of your sins and the free gift of eternal salvation.
If you have, we want to encourage you to pursue righteousness, godly parents, and a spouse if not already married. We want to emphasize God's will for relationships and marriage, reminding you to coordinate your actions with Biblical principles.
Now, let us pray for your healing.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We ask, Lord, that You would heal ###'s kidneys. You are the Great Physician, and there is no disease that is too hard for You to heal. We pray that You would touch ###'s body and make them whole again.
We pray also that ### would draw close to You during this time, Lord. Use this trial to strengthen their faith and trust in You. Help them to grow in their knowledge and love for You because you have saved them not by their own works, but through faith in your son Jesus Christ as it says in Ephesians 2:8-9: "For your salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed; for by grace you have been saved, and not of yourselves, but it is the gift of God; not according to works, that no one would boast. We ask all this in the name of Your beloved Son, our savior Jesus Christ. In the WEB in Romans 10:9, it says: "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you shall be saved"
While we are praying for physical healing, we also pray that if it is your will and that you use this time, that ### would grow in their relationship with You and possibly a potential spouse that also knows and loves You, Lord. We pray that You would be glorified in ###'s life and that they serve very closely with You in their family, in Your church, as a member of Your body.
It is obvious this is a time of difficulty and possible temptation for ### to deal with sickness and stress. To help them cope with this pray that they take up the full Armor of God to defend against Satan's fiery darts. Ephesians 6:11-17: 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the worldโs rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore, put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace, 16 above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 with all prayer and requests, praying at all times in the Spirit, and being watchful to this end in all perseverance and requests for all the saints:
In addition, to help deal with anxiety about their health, pray for them Philippians 4:6-9:
Be careful for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report: if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, think about these things. The things which you learned, received, heard, and saw in me: do these things, and the God of peace will be with you.
We love you in the Lord, ###, and we are praying for you. May God bless and encourage you in all you go through and do.
