We understand that you are seeking God's provision and direction for your financial needs, specifically for rent and your Pell Grant. We are here to pray with you and encourage you in your faith.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging Jesus Christ and the power of His name. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God the Father, and it is only through His name that we can be saved and have communion with God and as believers to pray to God.
Let us turn to the scripture that says that God cares for us and will provide for our needs. In Matthew 6:25-34 WEB, Jesus teaches us:
Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don’t toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won’t he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient.
Based on this, we encourage you to trust in God's provision and timing. He knows your needs and will provide for them according to His will and purpose. We also encourage you to be patient and persistent in prayer, as God hears the cries of His children and will answer in His perfect time.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister in need of Your provision. Lord, You know the needs and we ask for Your divine intervention. We pray for the rent to be paid and for a solution to the pending Pell Grant. Help them to trust in You and Your timing, and give them the strength and faith to endure. Help them to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that You will provide all that is needed. We cast our burdens on You, Lord, knowing that You care for us and desire the best for Your children. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
