We are glad that you have come seeking forgiveness in the name of Jesus Christ. It is wonderful that you acknowledging that forgiveness comes through Jesus. The Bible tells us in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" This means that it is only through Jesus Christ that we can be saved and receive forgiveness for our sins.

In 1 John 1:9 WEB, it says, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." This is a promise from God that when we confess our sins, He will forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this person who has humbly asked for forgiveness. Lord, You are merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness. You have promised that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

We ask that You grant this person Your forgiveness and cleansing, and help them to walk in newness of life. Give them the strength to turn away from their sins and to live a life that is pleasing to You. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, and guide them in the path of righteousness.

We're here with you, lifting this burden off your shoulders. It's a beautiful thing to see you coming to Jesus for forgiveness. Let's remind ourselves of what the Bible says in John 8:36, "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." Jesus is that door to true freedom, and He's standing it wide open for you.

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You today, seeking Your forgiveness for our friend. Lord, You're a God of second chances, a God who delights in showing mercy. We confess our friend's sins to You, Lord. We ask for Your forgiveness, Your cleansing, and Your healing. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, guide them in the path of righteousness, and help them to grow in their relationship with You.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
