We are grateful for your anguish for God to forgive your sins. It is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we can approach God and be forgiven for our sins. There is no other name by which we can be forgiven or saved. The World English Bible tells us I wrote to you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people; yet not at all meaning the sexually immoral people of this world, or the covetous and extortionist, or the idolaters, since you would need to go out of the world. But as it is, I wrote to you not to associate with anyone who is called a brother who is a sexual sinner, or covetous, or an idolater, or a slanderer, or a drunkard, or an extortionist. Do not even eat with such a person. For what have I to do with also judging those who are outside? Do you not judge those who are inside? But God judges those who are outside, put away the wicked man from among yourselves.
God does not want us to continue in sin. Peter tells us who Himself bore our sins in His body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness, by Whose stripes you were healed. Do not be deceived. No sexual sinner, or unclean person, or covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the Kingdom of Christ and God. Let no one deceive you with empty words. For because of these things, the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience.
Let us pray together in the name of Jesus.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking forgiveness for the sins. We confess that have sinned and fallen short of Your glory. We ask that You forgive and cleanse from all unrighteousness. Help to turn away from sin and to live a life that is pleasing to You.
Father, we also pray for guidance and strength. Help to resist temptation and to follow Your will for life. Surround with Your love and protection, and guide every step.
We ask these things in the precious name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who gave His life so that we might be forgiven and have eternal life. It is in His name we pray. Amen.
Let us also be comforted by Acts 10:43, Be it known therefore unto you, that remission of sins is preached through his name among all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem. None can provide remission of sins but Jesus Christ. Everyone has sinned in some way no one is worthy to stand before God on our own. All have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God; Romans 3:23. But thanks be to God, who gives us victory in Jesus Christ!
Let us look at Romans 10 verses 9-11 and 13. That if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture says, Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed. Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.
Let us urge all to come before God confessing their sins; confessing their belief in the Lord Jesus Christ, that they can be forgiven and saved. This will be the most important decision that is ever made by every person. This is the decision that determines where each of us spends eternity. God loves each of us and wants us all to choose eternal life through our Lord Jesus Christ
