We understand your desire to be free from past connections that may hinder your spiritual growth and walk with Christ. It's important to remember that God wants us to be free indeed, and He has provided a way for us to break from our past through the redeeming of the blood of Jesus.
In Romans 6:6, the Word English Bible states:
But knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be in bondage to sin.
Additionally, in Galatians 5:1, it is written: For freedom Christ has set us free. Stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our fellow believer who seeks freedom from past soul ties. We ask, Lord, that You break every ungodly connection from their past. Help them to move forward, not remembering or being connected to anyone or anything that does not serve Your purposes for their life.
We are not only asking but we also have the authority to proclaim in Jesus Name to break each of these bonds in his life as far as the east is from the west, to never have them brought to his remembrance again!
We thank You, Lord, for Your forgiveness and the freedom that comes through the blood of Jesus Christ. Help our friend to walk in this freedom and to live a life that honors and glorifies Your name.
We pray this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ, who has set us free indeed! Amen.
We encourage you to continue walking in this freedom and to focus on your relationship with Jesus Christ. Remember, it is only through Him that we have access to God the Father and if do not claim for yourself the name of Jesus, neither will we be saved!!
If you have not done so or are unsure here is a prayer to believe and receive salvation in the name of Jesus Christ.
So always ask in Jesus Name!
That if you have not done so and have repented of your sins and repeat this prayer --
Dear Lord Jesus Christ,
I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior.
In Your Name, Jesus Christ.
Amen
If you have prayed this prayer, let us celebrate your newfound faith and freedom in Christ!
We encourage you to get a Bible if you do not have one, and begin reading the Gospel of John and Romans.
