We are glad that you have come to repentance, and it is wonderful that you acknowledged the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer. Only Jesus Christ can save and redeem us as He is our advocate with the Father when we repent.
Let us remember and pray, there is no sin too great that Jesus cannot and has not forgiven if asked. All who confess their sin and ask God have for forgiveness have been promised they will be forgiven. Forgiveness is also a daily walk with Christ rather than a onetime walk. Let us pray.
Let us pray together.
Father, we come before you in Jesus Christ’s worthy name and thank You for the forgiveness that only comes through belief and faith in the name of Jesus Christ for salvation and redemption and all sin and that You grant us. AMEN.
First, it is important to recognize that God wants us to be specific about our sins when repenting. We must acknowledge every sin and confess to each one rather than a list of instances. Not doing so is disobeying all that God commands, including repentance, confession, and redemption through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. Let us go to Jesus Christ as His blood atones for each sin. He loves us but we are not without responsibilities to keep His Statutes by obedience to all that God commands. Without naming each sin there can be no repentance. Rebuke and correct.
We have been told by religious people that it is acceptable to make a generic confession, but for God's children, this is not true. Such assertions by teachers are false, and teach of man and not God. This is wrong teaching, ineffigacy, and shortcoming of repentance. Let us approach each sin without looking back and walk in the freedom of Christ. As we confess we can walk in beautiful reconciliation and relationship with our Heavenly Father.
Please go to God and confess and repent, for God hears and forgives each transgression in Jesus Christ's name. We are free indeed, amen.
Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective. James 5:16 WEB.
Isaiah 1:18 WEB Come now, and let us reason together, says Yahweh: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
Reflect upon these verses and let us go before God in prayer. Know and believe in redemption. You stand as righteous before Him and your Father so you can be blessed and smiled upon by the Holy one and there is no condemnation before Him in Jesus's name, amen.
