He Makes All things New

Today's Scripture

"…and He who is seated on the throne said, See! I make all things new…" (Revelation 21:5, AMP).

When God puts a dream in your heart, when He puts a promise on the inside, He deposits within you everything you need to accomplish that dream. He wouldn't give you the desire to do something without giving you the ability to fulfill it. In fact, the scripture tells us that God gives us the desires of our heart. In other words, He puts the desire inside of us and then works with us to bring it to pass.

Oftentimes, people set out to accomplish their dreams, but they face a setback or disappointment, and then they feel like their time has passed. But let me tell you today, no matter where you've come from, no matter what's happened in your past, God wants to make you new. He wants to give you a "do over," a fresh start. If you feel like you've missed opportunities in your life, if you feel like your time has passed, remember, today is a new day. You are a new person, and God has new opportunities in store for you. If one dream has died, it's time to dream a new dream.

I think of this so many times, having a dream in my heart and no earthly way for it to come true. God has reinforced that in me lately, He will not give us a dream, without giving us the way to fullfill it. He is the way, and we learn so much, and grow so much as we trust in Him and see Him provide for all our needs in that fullfillment of those dreams.

Gracious God, I pray for a new season in life. I am ready to pursue the dream, to live the desire, to achieve something more. Guide and direct my thoughts, words, actions and deeds. Help me to the place You have prepared for me. Let me recognize the dream and pursue it, rooted in the faith that You have already provided the way. There is no challenge we face greater than Your ability to bring us through it. To You be all honor, glory and praise! In Jesus' name, Amen.

I find myself feeling this way alot lately, like I am used up and no good for anything, the kids are grown and gone, Don has left, and I just find my self wondering if my life has passed me by.

Heavenly Father I pray for fulfillment in my life, in my heart, and I pray that the presence that consumes me is You Lord, I can do all things with You Father, this is Your promise to me and I am stepping out in faith and claiming MY promise from You today, in Jesus name amen.

We thank you that you give beauty for ashes, joy for our mourning and laughing for weeping. You are the God of new mercies every morning. Please let all the intercessors on this site know that they are fulfilling the call to be watchmen and women on the wall and to war off the devil through intercession that the kingdom of God may be ushered in through the prayers of the church.

Amen...thank you for that word from the Lord...I needed that. When Paul said the thing he tries not to do, that's the thing he does...and the thing he should do, that's what he cannot seem to do...that's so true, all the way to the 21st century, it's still true. Lord, Paul knew that you had paid the debt we rang up, he covered the cost of sin with his body, his pain, his suffering...we are free. Jesus, Paul knew that he was going to sin, but to continue on, asking forgiveness, moving forward...towards victory. Praise God!!!
