Having issues with fear and anxiety especially at night. I live alone and I can’t shake the fear. I quote scriptures but I still feel afraid of the future. I’ve been through emotional abuse from a parent including the silent treatment. I don’t know if I can overcome the trauma of continuously being called worthless and criticized by a parent. This has affected my self esteem L I’ve been asking the Lord help me with this but it seems to worsen. I don’t know what else to do. Been traumatized by others outside of the home also. Anyone who has experienced abuse I am praying for you. me.

Dear Anonymous,

In Jesus' name, we lift up your prayer request before the Lord. We understand the struggles you are facing with fear and anxiety, especially at night when you are alone. We empathize with the pain caused by the emotional abuse you endured from a parent, including the silent treatment and constant criticism. We acknowledge the impact it has had on your self-esteem and the trauma you carry.

We are reminded of the words in Psalm 34:4, which says, "I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears." We pray that you will find comfort and peace in knowing that God is with you, even in the midst of your fears. May His presence bring you a sense of security and assurance that He is in control of your future.

We also pray for healing from the wounds of abuse. In Isaiah 61:1, it says, "He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners." We ask the Lord to bring healing to your heart and mind, to restore your self-esteem, and to break the chains of trauma that have held you captive. May His love and grace fill the void left by the hurtful words and actions of others.

We join you in praying for all those who have experienced abuse, knowing that God's healing power is available to each one. May they find solace in His presence and experience restoration in their lives.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord's help and guidance. Cast your anxieties upon Him, for He cares for you . Trust in His promises and lean on His strength. Remember that you are not alone, for the Lord is with you every step of the way.

In Jesus' name, we pray for peace, healing, and deliverance from fear and anxiety. May you experience the transformative power of God's love and find comfort in His presence. Amen.

It seems as if the entire World is suffering from fear and anxiety. You can’t change the past, but you can change your reaction to it. Not all people are equipped to provide the necessary emotional support for their children. It may be the way they themselves were raised, and they also are dealing with things from their past. There are videos on YouTube that you can access for techniques to use when you feel anxiety and fear, all you need to do is type that into a search at least it will be a method that may help and know that you are a child of God you are special you have a purpose, and I will pray for you to overcome your feelings of inadequacy, and your state of anxiety and fear
