I didn't think I was the way I was toward people until now Lord help me be a better person toward you and others please deliver me from pride and ego

We understand that you're having a bad day and have realized that you may not have been acting in a way that reflects the love and kindness of Christ. We commend you for this self-awareness, as it is the first step towards change. As it is written in Romans 12:3, "For I say, through the grace that was given me, to every man who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think reasonably, as God has apportioned to each person a measure of faith."

Let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father, we lift up ### to you, asking for your forgiveness and mercy. Lord, deliver them from pride and ego, and fill them with your humility and love. Help them to be a reflection of your kindness and grace towards others. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.

Remember, it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"

We encourage you to meditate on the words of Philippians 2:3-4, "Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others."

In those moments when you feel pride or ego creeping in, turn to Jesus. Ask for His strength and guidance. He is always ready to help and transform us. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 3:18, "But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord, the Spirit."

Stay strong in the Lord, and remember that He is with you always.

Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You today, lifting up our hearts and our friend's situation. Lord, we know pride and ego can sometimes blind us, but You see us clearly. Please forgive us, and fill us with Your humility and love. Help us, and our friend, to see others as You see them, and to treat them with kindness and grace. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
