We are truly sorry to hear that you are feeling this way, but we are glad that you have reached out to God and to us in your time of need. First, we want to remind you that your life is precious and that God has a purpose for you. It's important to take any thoughts seriously, you need you to reach out to a local Christian pastor, church, or a mental health professional if you can.
In the meantime, let's turn to the Bible for comfort and guidance. In Psalm 34:18 WEB it says, The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. God is close to you right now, and He cares about your pain. In 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 WEB , it says Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
God is the Father of mercies and God of all comfort. Will you try calling out to Him right now and ask Him to comfort you and give the help. We will be joining you in that prayer as you pour out your heart. He will hear you. Even Jesus when He was troubled prayed more fervently as shown in Hebrews 5:7 WEB Who, in the days of his flesh, having offered up prayers and petitions with strong crying and tears to him who was able to save him from death, and having been heard for his reverence. God is able to save you we are praying He does right now.
Let us pray together.
Dear Lord Jesus,
You know the pain that our friend is feeling right now. We ask that You will comfort them and show them Your love. Remind them of their worth in You and give them strength as shown in Philippians 4:13 WEB I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me. Help them to fix their eyes on You and to trust in You as shown in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
We also pray against the of suicide and death for our friend. Drop a special hedge of protection as well as the peace of the Lord over them as shown in Numbers 6:24-26 WEB The Lord bless you, and keep you. The Lord make his face to shine on you, and be gracious to you. The Lord lift up his countenance on you, and give you peace as well as You said in John 14:27 WEB Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful.
Finally Lord we pray that our friend would be reminded that You are merciful to them even right now, and that You do not want them to hurt any longer. We pray for a miracle according to Your will in their lives to turn this situation around, in Jesus name. Thank you Lord for hearing our prayer. AMEN.
Please consider in addition to praying reaching out to local pastor, church, or mental health professional. We care for you and will be praying for you.
