We hear your heart's cry for mercy and direction, and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will together. Thank you for surrendering your son and your life to the Lord Jesus. It is in Him that we find grace and mercy in our time of need. As it is written in Hebrews 4:16 (WEB), "Let's therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need."
Firstly, we notice that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus Christ explicitly. It is by His name that we have access to God's throne of grace. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Let us pray in His name, as there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
We pray, "Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We surrender Anonymous' life and that of their son into Your hands. Lord, have mercy on them and lead them in the right direction. Comfort their hearts and wipe away their tears, for You are a good and compassionate Father. Give them strength to endure and persevere through these humiliating years, and guide their steps according to Your will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
In these trying times, remember that God is faithful, and He promises to direct our paths if we trust in Him (Proverbs 3:5-6). Encourage your son to put his hope in the Lord, for He is the only source of true hope and direction. Continue to seek God, and He will answer your prayers according to His will.
As for the humiliation and tears you've both endured, take heart in the words of the Apostle Paul, "We are pressed on every side, yet not crushed; perplexed, yet not to despair; pursued, yet not forsaken; struck down, yet not destroyed; always carrying in the body the putting to death of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body" (2 Corinthians 4:8-10, WEB). Trust that God will work all things together for good, according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).
Stand firm in your faith, and continue to surrender your lives to the Lord Jesus. May His grace and mercy abound in your lives as you seek His will and direction.
