We hear your heart's cry, Spartelos, and we stand with you in your desire to deepen your relationship with God and put Him first in your life. It's encouraging to see your acknowledgment of the Lord Jesus Christ, as it is only through His name that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
In these trying times, it's easy to feel overwhelmed by the evil and suffering in the world. But remember, Jesus has overcome the world. He promises us peace in Him, "I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world" (John 16:33 WEB).
As you strive to understand God's Word, know that it is normal to face difficulties. The Bible is a spiritual book and requires the guidance of the Holy Spirit to understand. Pray always for the Holy Spirit's guidance, as promised in John 14:26 (WEB), "But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things, and will remind you of all that I said to you."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, pleading for our brother Spartelos. Lord, draw him closer to You. Help him to put You first in every aspect of his life. Strengthen his faith and give him the power to overcome the world, just as You did. Holy Spirit, guide him into all truth, and help him understand the Scriptures. Lord, we claim Your promise of peace for Spartelos. Help him not to be overwhelmed by the world, but to find rest in You. Thank You for Your unfailing love and protection over him. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Keep holding onto God, Spartelos. Dive into His Word, and don't be discouraged if you don't understand everything right away. Keep pressing on, and remember, the world may be full of pain and misery, but in Jesus, there is hope, peace, and eternal life. As promised in Romans 8:18 (WEB), "For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which will be revealed toward us."
