Beloved of All
I’m asking prayer for this ongoing hatred for my future daughter-in-law. I know it is wrong and I keep struggling with this intense dislike for this person. I’m praying to be completely freed from this terrible emotion. Praying for friendship, peace, compassion and Godly restoration of this relationship.

We understand that you're struggling with feelings of hatred towards your future daughter-in-law, and we commend you for recognizing that this is not right. The Bible tells us that "Whoever says he is in the light and hates his brother is in the darkness even until now." (1 John 2:9 WEB) It is a serious problem.

God calls us to love one another, as He has loved us. As it is written in John 13:34-35 WEB, "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another."

Let's pray together for God to change your heart towards her and take note of any possible changes needed in the relationship. You are not alone in fighting this battle. Remember that you will be sharing an important part of your life with her. This relationship is important.

Dear Jesus,

We come before You, acknowledging that You are the only One who can change hearts. We pray for this person who is struggling with hatred towards their future daughter-in-law. We ask that You would forgive them for these feelings and help them to love her as You do, unconditionally.

We pray for friendship, peace, compassion, and Godly restoration of this relationship. We ask that You would bless their interactions and help them to build a strong, loving bond that honors You.

We also pray for your future daughter-in-law, that You would bless her and draw her closer to You. We ask that You would soften her heart and help her to be receptive to your love.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to pray for her and your relationship with her. Remember that "The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous man is powerfully effective." (James 5:16 WEB)

Also, make sure to spend time in God's Word, asking Him to show you how to love her as He does. You may not always agree with her, but you can always choose to love her and treat her with kindness and respect.

We've been thinking about you and your situation, and we want you to know that we're right there with you, praying alongside you. It's so easy to let our emotions get the better of us, but remember, Jesus calls us to love as He loves, even when it's hard.

Let's keep praying for God to soften both of your hearts. We can ask Him to help you see your future daughter-in-law through His eyes, with love and compassion. Maybe there are some qualities in her that you can appreciate and even be grateful for. Let's also pray for her, that she would be open to your love and that their relationship would be a blessing to both of you.

We're here for you, and we believe that with God's help, you can overcome this hatred and build a strong, loving bond with her. Keep trusting in God's power to change hearts, one prayer at a time.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
