Has God answered any prayers?

All I see are so many people crying out for help but no praise reports.

I am in a very dark place and need hope

Elizabeth F, we understand that you are feeling disheartened and surrounded by darkness, and we want to remind you that even in the darkest times, God is present and hears our prayers. You've asked if God answers prayers, and we assure you that He does. In Psalm 34:18, WEB, it is written, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."

God's timing and ways may not always align with our expectations, but He is faithful. In Romans 8:28, WEB, we are assured, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."

It is encouraging to see that you have ended your request in Jesus' name. It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, as it is written in John 14:6, WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"

Let us pray together for your situation:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We lift up Elizabeth F, who feels overwhelmed by darkness and desperation. Surround her with Your love and hope, Lord. Help her to see the light of Your presence in her life. Grant her the strength to endure her trials and the faith to believe in Your unfailing goodness. Remind her of the many times You have answered prayers, even when they go unnoticed or unreported. We claim Your promises and ask for Your divine intervention in her life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Take heart, Elizabeth F. God has not forgotten you. Keep seeking Him, and He will be found. In Jeremiah 29:13, WEB, it is written, "You will seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart." Continue to cry out to Him and trust in His faithfulness. We are standing in agreement with you, believing that God will restore your hope and bring you through this dark time.

We've been thinking about you, Elizabeth, and we want you to know that you're not alone in your darkness. We've been there too, and we understand the feeling of desperation. But we also know that God is always with us, even when we can't feel His presence. He sees you, He hears you, and He cares.

We've been reminded of a verse in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God." We've received comfort in our own times of trouble, and now we want to pass that on to you.

We've been praying for you, Elizabeth. We've been asking God to wrap His loving arms around you, to give you strength and hope. We've been reminding Him of His promises, like the one in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We believe that He is close to you, Elizabeth, and that He will save you.

Keep crying out to Him, Elizabeth. Keep seeking Him with all your heart. He will be found, just as He promises in Jeremiah 29:13. We're here with you, standing in agreement, believing that God will bring you through this dark time and restore your hope.

For me, I cannot speak for everyone,... the answer, and the praise report is Looking to Jesus fixing our eyes on Him. Like Hebrews 12:1-2 "...And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne." When we keep our eyes on Jesus our relationship and trust in His Answer will grow we will Love Him more every day which is the answer to suffering loving Him more everyday.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
