We understand that you are going through a challenging time, struggling to take care of yourself while recovering from a difficult past. We appreciate that you have acknowledged the name of Christ is your prayer. First let us address that. You are correct to pray in the name of Jesus. "For 'whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" (Romans 10:13 WEB). We are only saved by faith in the name of Jesus.
We commend you for your heart of kindness towards others, even as you seek to focus on your own needs and healing.
The Lord reminds us of our value and His care for us. "Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the sky: they do not sow, or reap, or gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of much more value than they?" (Matthew 6:25-26 WEB). Trust in God's provision and care for you, just as He cares for the birds of the sky.
As you look for a job, we will lift you up in prayer. It is important to do so. "But without faith it is impossible to please him, for he who comes to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him." (Hebrews 11:6 WEB). If you ever begin to feel discouraged remember this promise. "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you: when you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle on you." (Isaiah 43:2 WEB).
Remember the Lord has used you mightily in the past, and He will continue to use you as you submit to His will. Be encouraged by these words. "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers." (Galatians 6:9-10 WEB). We will pray for you as you seek to balance your needs with your desire to help others.
Father, we lift up our brother/sister to You. Be near to them during this difficult time and cover them in their struggles. Provide for them a job opportunity that will help them meet their needs. Enable them to focus on their own needs and healing. Remind them of their value in Your eyes and Your unfailing love for them as you demonstrate your care. Help them to get what they need and desire. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
In closing, remember to "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved." (Psalm 55:22 WEB). We are here for you and we will keep you in our prayers.
