Happy New Year 2018
A New Year's Prayer For You
You crown the year with Your goodness,
And Your paths drip with abundance.
Psalm 65:11
God Thank You for allowing me to live to see another day, another New Year. With all that is within me I say, Thank You Lord Jesus. I praise You. I bless Your Holy name. You are the reason that I am alive today. From eternity to eternity You alone are Lord, my God. There is no other Savior or God. There never has been, and there never will be. You are Life, my Living Water, and Living Bread. You are God, my Father, the Great I Am, God Almighty. You are the Head of my life, the breath that I breathe, the beat of my heart, and the length of my days. You are Lord, the only true and living God, and I am so in love with You.
God I ask in Jesus’ name, "Let this be the best year ever for me, and each year following even better. Step in my life and perfect the things that concern You and I. Teach me discipline in every area of my life. Bless my spiritual walk with You. May our relationship flourish, grow deeper, richer, and sweeter. Bless me physically. Teach me how and cause me to take care of me (body, mind, heart, soul, and spirit) in an excellent way that brings You glory. Teach me how to schedule time alone with You to rest my body and mind, and just soak and bask in Your love for me. Teach me how to sit at Your feet and allow Jesus to minister to my heart. That is what is needed in my life, that good part, which cannot be taken away from me.
God bless my finances and cause me to prosper. Teach me how to tithe not only with money, but also with my time and talents. Make me a wise steward over all You have and will bless me with. Bless me to prosper and continue to grow intellectually as well as spiritually. Help me to keep my focus on You and what You have called me to do. Bless me to become all that You created me to be. Make me a success in Christ Jesus.
God teach me time management and organization skills. Teach me how to prioritize and organize my life. God help me get and keep my priorities in order. Teach me to value the time You have given me and not waste it so that I will accomplish all that needs to be done in my life, family, career, home, and for You in an excellent and timely manner. God get my life, family, and home in order. Show me what is and what is not important. Show me what I need to be concerned about and what I don't need to be concerned about. God, do not let me waste the time that You have blessed me with.
Remind me daily, engrave it upon my heart, You have called me by name, I am yours. Let me never place anything or anyone in Your place, before or above You. Bless, direct, motivate, and strengthen me to place Your interests, reputation, and commands over all other opinions or beliefs in my life. Remind me to pray about everything, seek Your will in the matter, and allow You to direct my footsteps. Let Your will and approval for my life control my life. Everything that I go through let me ask myself: How can I please and honor You God in this situation? Then strengthen me to obey Your will. Let Your Will be done.
Teach me how and help me to block out the negative, the voices of the enemy that come to discourage, deceive, and destroy the dreams that You have given me. Lord teach me how to spiritually silence the dream killers, the lies, and the deceit of those who come to get my focus off of You and what You have called and told me to do. Most importantly teach me how to enjoy life the way You meant life to be enjoyed by me. In all things teach me how to give thanks. And remind me that all things will work out for my good because I love You and I am called according to Your purpose.
God bless me with a heart after Your own heart. Encourage, strengthen, instruct, and help me walk in the character of Christ Jesus. Let the life that I live exemplify Jesus’ life. Give me understanding of Your Word and strengthen me to be a doer of Your Word. Let the favor, wisdom, comfort, peace, and protection of God rest in and upon my life for the rest of my life. God I ask all these things so that I may be blessed and be a blessing. God all that I have asked of You in this prayer please do the same for those I love, care about, and the writer of this prayer. Amen, So Be It, And It Is So!"
