Heavenly Father, we come to you today in the name of Jesus. We thank you for the gift of Pentecost and the outpouring of your Holy Spirit. We ask that you bless SAMV with a spirit of joy and peace as they celebrate this special day. We also ask that you grant SAMV two unspoken requests, that you know are in their hearts. May they experience your love and grace in a special way. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
