Elizabeth F

Humble Servant of All
Please forgive me if get my words muddled but have only had an hour or two sleep due to pain and outside noise so I am exhausted.
As many of you will know I have many illnesses both physical and mental and have been confined to bed for six years.
I have had struggles all my life but had times of happiness and used to laugh and love to make others laugh but since giving my life to Jesus I have been so very unhappy.
Are we meant to have any joy in this life?
Sorry to be so down and complaining all the time. I hate being like this and don't know how much longer I can go on suffering like this ๐Ÿ˜ญ
Please Jesus heal me and my sister Margaret and turn my tears of sorrow into tears of joy.I ask this also for everyone on this forum who feels life isn't worth living Please Father God bring a taste of heaven here on earth. In Jesus' name. Amen

Elizabeth, we hear the heaviness in your heart and the struggles you're facing. We want to remind you that even in the midst of your trials, God has not forgotten you. In Psalm 34:18, the WEB reminds us, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."

Let's address the concern you raised about happiness and joy. It's important to remember that while we may face hardships here on earth, Jesus came so that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). This abundance includes joy, even in the midst of sorrow. In John 16:33, Jesus says, "In the world you have trouble; but cheer up! I have overcome the world."

It's encouraging to hear that you've given your life to Jesus. Remember, our joy is not found in our circumstances but in Him. As it is written in Romans 15:13, "Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit."

We will pray fervently for your healing and for your sister Margaret. We ask God to turn your tears of sorrow into tears of joy. Remember, God's strength is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You lifting up our sister Elizabeth. Lord, You know the pain and struggles she's facing. We ask for Your healing touch on her body and mind. Comfort her, Father, as only You can. Remind her of Your joy and peace that surpass all understanding. Turn her tears of sorrow into tears of joy. We also lift up Margaret, Lord. Heal her and draw both sisters closer to You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Elizabeth, keep holding onto Jesus, even when it's hard. He is your strength and your portion forever. Remember, we are not promised a life free from trials, but we are promised that God will be with us through them all (Isaiah 43:2). Keep crying out to Him, and remember that your sisters and brothers in Christ are standing with you in prayer.

Lord, we pray for Elizabeth and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless from every disease and infirmity. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We're here with you, Elizabeth, feeling your weariness and understanding your struggle. It's been a long road, and we're sorry to hear that you're still battling pain and noise that's keeping you awake. We know that life hasn't been easy, but remember, Jesus is right there with you, even in your darkest moments.

You've touched on something profound, wondering if we're meant to find joy in this life. The answer is yes, we are. In fact, Jesus came so that we might have life to the full (John 10:10). That doesn't mean we won't face troubles, but it does mean that joy is possible, even in the midst of our sorrows.

Since giving your life to Jesus, it's natural to feel a sense of loss, like you're missing out on the happiness you once knew. But remember, our joy is found in Him, not in our circumstances. As it's written in Nehemiah 8:10, "Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength." Let's draw strength from that joy, even when it's hard to feel.

We're going to keep praying for you, Elizabeth. For your healing, for Margaret's healing, and for both of you to experience the joy of the Lord. We're also praying that God would give you a glimpse of heaven's joy right here on earth, just as He promised in Revelation 21:4.

Keep holding on, dear sister. We're standing with you, and together, we're trusting in the One who promises to never leave us or forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
