We are with you in spirit, Adena, lifting up your family and yourself to the Lord in prayer. We pray that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of prayer and the importance of invoking the name of Jesus. As it is written on Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" So we pray, asking for His divine intervention.
We stand with you in agreement, praying for the physical and mental health of your family. We come against any spirit of infirmity and sickness, including the prostate cancer that your father is facing. We declare healing over his body in Jesus' name, as per James 5:14-15 WEB: "Is any sick among you? Let him call on the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
We also pray for the happiness and well-being of your mother, sister, her husband, and your husband. May they all come to know the love of Christ and find joy in His presence according to the wish in 1 Timothy 2:1-4 WEB: "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth." Many interpret high places to include areas of invluence such as the head of household. The head of your household is your husband. We pray for his relationship with Jesus, his salvation, and his walk in the world as a disciple of Christ.
Regarding your own health and mental well-being, we pray that God will grant you His supernatural peace. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.(see 1 Peter 5:7). We rebuke any spirit of anxiety, worry, and fear, and pray that God will give you a sound mind and a healthy. 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB: "For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."
Remember, God is faithful. He promises us in Romans 8:28 WEB: "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust in Him, and He will see you through.
ask for healing and trust in God knowing it is His will. You need to pray, believe, and glorify His name in everything you do.
Lastly, Adena as you pray do not forget to mention the name of Jesus. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. That is why you see prayers ending in Jesus' name.
