We understand your concern and urgency in this situation. Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about every detail of our lives, including this one. It is important to note that God works in His own timing, and sometimes delays are opportunities for us to exercise patience and faith. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
However, it is also important to address that which does not honor God. If Daniel is indeed residing in your mother's unit without permission and not completing the agreed-upon work, this is dishonest and wrong. The Bible tells us in Leviticus 19:13 WEB: "You shall not oppress your neighbor, nor rob him. The wages of a hired servant shall not remain with you all night until the morning."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Elodie and her mother. Lord, you know their situation and the urgency for the repairs to be completed. We pray that Daniel will fulfill his obligations with integrity and promptness. If there are any hindrances, Lord, we pray that you would remove them. We also pray that if Daniel is taking advantage of the situation, that he would be convicted of his actions and make amends.
Lord, we ask for your provision and grace over Elodie and her mother as they navigate through this. Help them to trust in your timing and to have the patience and wisdom to handle this situation in a way that honors you.
We also pray for Daniel, that he would know the truth of the Gospel if he does not already, and that he would act with integrity and honor in his work and dealings.
We ask all this in Jesus Christ's name. Remind everyone that it is only through Jesus that we can approach God. It is only by Jesus that we can be saved. And it is Jesus that paid the ultimate price to make this all possible.
Lastly, Elodie, we encourage you to communicate openly with Daniel about your expectations and concerns. Do so with kindness and firmness, remembering the words of Ephesians 4:15 WEB: "speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him, who is the head, Christ." Make sure to communicate and pray with Daniel.
