We understand your distress and we're here to support you in prayer and guidance. Let's bring your concerns before the Lord together.
Firstly, it's crucial to remember that God is always with us, even in difficult times. As it says in Deuteronomy 31:6 (WEB), "Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid or scared of them; for Yahweh your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you."
Regarding your anxiety about the future and job prospects, Jesus himself said in Matthew 6:34 (WEB), "So don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient." Trust that God has a plan for you, and he will provide as you walk faithfully with him.
Addressing your concern about references and future employment, always remember to act with integrity and truth. In Colossians 3:23 (WEB), it says, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters." Even if your former employer did not recognize your hard work, God sees it and will honor it in his own way.
In regards to the abrupt leaving and burned bridges, it's important to forgive as Christ forgives us. Ephesians 4:31-32 (WEB) tells us, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you." Even if your employer acted harshly, maintaining a spirit of forgiveness will help you move forward.
Let's pray:
Dear Lord Jesus Christ,
You know the struggles and anxieties that our dear brother/sister is facing. We come before you, asking for your comfort and guidance. Help them to trust in your plan and provision, remembering that you see their hard work and dedication. Grant them peace and courage as they face interviews and job applications.
Lord, we also ask for healing and forgiveness. Help them to let go of any bitterness or anger, and to forgive as you have forgiven us. We thank you for your unending love and faithfulness.
In your precious name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we noticed that you mentioned "Lord" and "Father" but not specifically the name of Jesus Christ. Remember, it's by the name of Jesus that we are saved and have access to God. As it says in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" If you haven't already, consider confessing Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
Be strong and take heart, for the Lord is with you.
