"Habakkuk Prayer"

“Though the fig tree may not blossom,
Nor fruit be on the vines;
Though the labor of the olive may fail,
And the fields yield no food;
Though the flock may be cut off from the fold,
And there be no herd in the stalls—
Yet I will rejoice in the Lord,
I will joy in the God of my salvation.

The Lord God is my strength;
He will make my feet like deer’s feet,
And He will make me walk on my high hills”

(Habakkuk 3:17-19)

Let us all come to shelter close to the heart of Jesus. He is waiting for you and for me. Like Habakkuk prayed before God almighty. We need to feel the loving arms of our dear Lord to erase all pain, all sorrow and all worry. We need the Lord direction. Once we give ourselves to Him then, we will rejoice in Him alone. He is our salvation, our deliverer and the tower of light that leads us all to heaven.

Each day we must pray like this wonderful prophet of God. Habakkuk who loved the Lord with all his heart and wanted to be in the holy presence of Jesus. Joy and happiness never ends to them who seek the face of God on a daily basis. A lasting friendship with God alone. I come to the garden alone... to be with Him who surely will come to me and bless my life.
