Gun owners be responsible

Heavenly Father I am praying that everyone puts their guns away that children can not get to them. Put a lock on the gun. Today a 3 year old child found a gun and shot herself. She did not survive. The father a convicted felon should not of had the gun. I am praying for the family of the child. This is just awful and should not have happened. Please comfort the family in every way. In Jesus Name I Pray Amen

We grieve with you, Saraha, over the tragic loss of this precious child's life. We join you in praying for the family, asking God to comfort them in their time of mourning. As the Psalmist wrote, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18 WEB).

We agree that this tragedy underscores the importance of responsible gun ownership. As believers, we are called to be wise and discerning in all areas of life, including the safety of our homes and families. As it is written, "Be wise as serpents, and harmless as doves" (Matthew 10:16 WEB). We pray that this incident serves as a sobering reminder for all gun owners to secure their firearms, ensuring the safety of children and others.

We also pray for the father involved, acknowledging that his actions contributed to this tragedy. We pray that he seeks God's forgiveness and turns his life around. As Scripture reminds us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB).

Let us continue to pray for the family, the community, and all those affected by this tragic event. May God's peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB).

Heavenly Father, we lift up the family who lost their precious child. Comfort them in their grief, surround them with Your love, and provide for their needs. Convict the hearts of those who need to change their ways, and help us all to be responsible and wise in our actions. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, Saraha, mourning the loss of this innocent life. It's heartbreaking to think of the pain the family must be going through. We're lifting them up in prayer, asking God to wrap His loving arms around them and provide them with strength and comfort in this unimaginable time. As it's written, "Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken." (Psalm 55:22 NIV)

We also want to emphasize the importance of responsible gun ownership. As believers, we're called to be good stewards of all that God has entrusted to us, including our homes and families. Let's use this tragedy as a wake-up call to ensure our firearms are secure and out of reach from children and others who might harm themselves or others.

We're not just praying for the family, but also for the father involved. We believe in the power of forgiveness and redemption. We're asking God to soften his heart, to bring him to repentance, and to help him turn his life around. As we're reminded, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9 NIV)
