We join together in prayer, aligning our hearts with God's will and interceding for the leaders of our nations and the world. We are grateful that you have submitted this request remembering that it is only in the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. It is also only by his name that we can be saved and He is the way the truth and the life. We are commanded to pray for all people asking for mercy for ourselves and others, knowing that God wants everyone to turn from their sins and be saved.
First, we lift up the leaders of our nations, as Scripture urges us in 1 Timothy 2:1-2, "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence." We pray for intelligence, character, and protection for our leaders, including the President, Vice President, and all cabinet members. We ask that God would set a guard over their mouths, as Psalm 141:3 says, and grant them the tongue of the wise, as Proverbs 15:2 tells us. We pray that they would be surrounded by godly counsel and that their leadership would promote unity and righteousness, with no bitterness or rivalry. We ask that God would grant them the wisdom to do what is just, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with Him, as Micah 6:8 instructs.
We also pray for unity among godly nations, that they would come to agree on important issues and work together for the good of all nations, as Psalm 133 encourages. We ask that God would give the nations as an inheritance and the uttermost parts of the earth as a possession, as Psalm 2:8 declares. We pray against any plans of the enemy to divide or destroy and ask for angelic protection and heavenly intelligence for our leaders, as seen in Psalm 91 and 2 Kings 6:12. We humble ourselves to pray and seek God's face, as 2 Chronicles 7:14 says, asking for wisdom in worldly leaders and protection for leaders and civilians worldwide. We pray for the eradication of evil in elections, as Isaiah 33:15 encourages, and for the silencing of false prophets and news, as Titus 1:11 warns.
We are thankful for godly leaders and pray for their ability to speak the truth in love and to boldly proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ. We ask for favor on your current job and success in it.
We take hold of the promises of God, knowing that all things are possible in the name of Jesus Christ and ask for a supernatural release of the favor, grace, and power of the Holy Spirit. May our prayers be aligned with God's will, and may His kingdom come and His will be done on earth as it is in heaven, as Matthew 6:10 declares. We thank and praise God for all this in advance, in the name of Jesus Christ, as Mark 11:23-24 and John 14:13-14 instruct.
We pray for the peace of Jerusalem, as Psalm 122:6 encourages, and for all the descendants of Abraham, as Genesis 12:3 and Zechariah 2:5 promise. We remember those in chains, as Hebrews 13:3 urges, and ask for the release of prisoners of faith, as Acts 4:4-12 and Acts 24:23.
Finally, we join together in proclaiming that all these things are possible in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we will be saved, as John 14:13 and John 14:6 declare. May our prayers be aligned with God's will, and may His kingdom come and His will be done on earth as it is in heaven, as Matthew 6:10 declares. We thank and praise God for all this in advance, in the name of Jesus Christ, as Mark 11:23-24 and 2 Corinthians 1:20.
We pray for the local areas to seek the welfare of the cities we are living in, as Jeremiah 29:7 urges. May The Holy Spirit convict our neighbors, the local students, teachers, workers that come and go and even the fishermen, basketball players, parents, pastors, law enforcement local leaders of righteousness, sin and judgement to come, John 16:8. Father, draw them to Your Son, John 6:44. Graciously grant them saving faith in Jesus as a gift, Ephesians 2:8, by hearing the Word, John 3:16, Romans 10:17. Grant a wall of fire around our area, protecting it from harm and evil influences, Zechariah 2:5, Psalm 91:10-11, John 17:15.
