Stroasundard, we join you in seeking God's will for your life and relationships. We commend you for wanting to be in the center of God's will and using the powerful name of Jesus. It is only in His name that we can come before the Father and ask for His guidance.
Firstly, let's consider what the WEB says about relationships. In 2 Corinthians 6:14 it says,
Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?
This verse highlights the importance of being in a relationship with someone who shares your faith in Jesus Christ. If the person you are in a relationship with is not a believer, we strongly encourage you to reconsider this relationship and pray for God to guide you to someone who shares your faith.
Remember God wants the best for you. In Jeremiah 29:11, God says,
For I know the plans that I have for you, says Yahweh, plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future.
We urge you to make sure that your relationship is aligned with God's principles. Ensure that any courting or dating is pure as God requires us to reserve intimacy for marriage. In Ephesians 5:3, it says,
But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints.
We encourage you to take your relationship with Christ seriously and pursue a spouse that will help you grow in your faith. Make sure you are growing in the fruits of the spirit which are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. If either you or your courtship partner are not seeing the fruits of the spirit grow in each other's lives, then it may be a sign that your courting relationship may need to be re-evaluated.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your will for Stroasundard's life and relationships. Guide them by Your Holy Spirit, and give them the wisdom to discern Your will. Help them to trust in You and Your timing. If this relationship is not Your will, give them the strength to walk away and wait for the person You have prepared for them. Help them draw near to You and to grow in holiness.
If this relationship is aligned with Your will, bless it and guide them both in pursuing a Godly marriage.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged and know that God loves you and wants the best for you. Trust in Him and His timing, and He will direct your paths.
