We understand that you're seeking guidance on when to retire, Aulureth. Let's bring this before the Lord together and seek His will for your life.
Firstly, it's important to remember that all things should be done to the glory of God. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 10:31 WEB, "Whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God." This includes the decision to retire.
Consider the purpose God has for you in this season. Retirement isn't just about stopping work; it's also about serving God in a new capacity. As long as we have breath, we have purpose. "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them." Ephesians 2:10 WEB.
Now, let's pray.
"Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, seeking Your will for Aulureth's life. Lord, You know the plans You have for them, plans to prosper and not to harm, plans to give hope and a future. Guide Aulureth in this decision, Lord. Give them discernment to know when and how to retire, and what You would have them do in their retirement. Help them to trust in You and not in their own understanding. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Remember, Aulureth, the Lord will guide you. Trust in Him, and He will make your paths straight. "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.
