Thank you for bringing this request to our attention. We are joined with you in seeking God's will and praying for success in the upcoming driving learner's exam. Indeed all knowledge and wisdom comes from the Lord. We are instructed in James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power in the name of Jesus, as you mentioned the "mighty name of Jesus." It is only through His name that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that any person can be saved. Let us come boldly before the throne of grace and intercede for this individual.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this individual who is preparing to take his driving tests. We ask, Lord, that You would grant him the wisdom and knowledge he needs to succeed. Guide his thoughts and actions, and help him to remember everything he has learned. Help him to be calm and centered, even when he is stressed. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with his spirit. Help him to pass his test tomorrow and to do so in a way that honors You.
Father, we also pray for his safety and the safety of others as he learns to drive and takes his test. We pray for the instructors, examiners, and others who are involved in this process. We ask that You would give them discernment and help them to carry out their responsibilities fairly, honestly, and compassionately.
Help him to always remember the wisdom of Psalm 37:23-24, where it says, "A man's goings are of the Lord. How then can a man understand his own way? Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down, for the Lord upholds him with his hand." Help him to always trust in You and to live in a way that is pleasing to You. Not only for his driving test but for all that he does in life.
Finally, we pray for a strong testimony of his faith in Jesus Christ for others to see and be attracted to. We pray that Your will be done in his life and that You would guide him in all his ways.
We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
We encourage him to study and prepare diligently, knowing that God is with him. "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in Sheol, where you are going." Ecclesiastes 9:10 (WEB).
We also remind him to trust in the Lord, rather than relying solely on his own understanding. "Trust in the Lord, with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB).
Lastly, we remind him to pursue honesty and integrity in all he does. Even in the way he takes the tests and drives in the future. "Better is the poor who walks in his integrity, than he who is perverse in his ways, and he is rich." Proverbs 28:6 (WEB).
