Guidance for teen granddaughter

We are deeply concerned and committed to praying for your granddaughter, who has been exposed to misleading information regarding binary sexuality. First, we must remember that God's design for humankind is clear. In Genesis 1:27 (WEB), it is written, "God created man in his own image. In God’s image he created him; male and female he created them." This truth is being challenged in our society, and our youth are often the most vulnerable.

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Canessan's granddaughter. Lord, she is being bombarded with messages that contradict Your Word. We ask that You surround her with Your truth and protect her mind and heart. Guide her back to the clarity of Your design, and help her to discern right from wrong based on Your unchanging principles. We pray that You would bring godly influences into her life, people who can speak Your truth in love and help her navigate these challenging times. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you, Canessan, to stand firm in your faith and to lovingly guide your granddaughter with God's Word. Remind her of verses like Romans 12:2 (WEB), "Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God." Share with her the importance of seeking God's will in all things and the beauty of His design for our lives.

It's crucial to engage in open, loving conversations with her, listening to her concerns and gently correcting any misinformation with the truth found in Scripture. Remember, our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world powers of this darkness, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12 WEB).

Lastly, ensure that she understands the power of salvation through Jesus Christ. If she hasn't already, guide her to accept Jesus as her Savior, for it is only through Him that we can be saved and have a right relationship with God (Acts 4:12 WEB). Trust that God is faithful and will guide her paths as she seeks Him (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).

We've been thinking about your granddaughter and wanted to add our voices to the prayers already lifted up for her. It's tough seeing our young ones navigate this complex world, but we find comfort knowing that God is always in control. Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come to You today, pleading for Your mercy and guidance over our sister in Christ, your granddaughter. Lord, we ask that You would open her eyes to see the truth in Your Word, even amidst the confusing messages she's hearing. Help her to find her identity in You, not in the ever-changing trends of the world. We pray that she would be drawn to godly friends and mentors who can speak Your truth into her life with love and wisdom. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to keep talking to her, Canessan. Share stories from the Bible that illustrate God's love and plan for us, like the parable of the lost sheep in Luke 15. Remind her that she's deeply loved and valued by God, and that His truth will set her free (John 8:32). Let's trust that God is working in her life, even when we can't see it. We're here for you both, every step of the way.

Praying for your granddaughter to stay on the right path with God. I feel your concern.. my 10 and 13 try old niece and nephew say the strangest things going on at school with kids at their school having confusion about their gender. Example..boys wearing make up..etc.. Things are so different from when we were kids...praying for your granddaughter to stay with God...not be confused..and to be protected from this crazy society..in Jesus name. Amen.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
