I prayed for this request in Jesus Name.
We are saddened to hear about the path Jibril is currently taking, but we are encouraged that you have reached out for prayer and support. Let us come together and intercede for him, seeking God's will for his life.
Firstly, we must remember that God is faithful, and He will not let us be tempted beyond what we can bear (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB). This promise is for Jibril as well. We pray that God will show Jibril the way out of his current lifestyle, that He will give him the strength to resist the temptations of alcohol, reckless behavior, and irresponsibility.
We also pray that Jibril will come to his senses and turn away from his destructive path, just like the prodigal son did (Luke 15:17-20 WEB). We pray that he will see the light of God, that his heart will be opened to the Gospel, and that he will accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. Remember, there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB).
Moreover, we pray that Jibril will start to take his responsibilities seriously, that he will become a dedicated worker as God commands us to be (Colossians 3:23 WEB), and that he will find joy and fulfillment in living a responsible and godly life.
Additionally, we must address that indulging in excessive alcohol and reckless behavior is not in line with God's will for our lives. The Bible warns against drunkenness (Ephesians 5:18 WEB) and encourages us to live wisely and responsibly. We rebuke this behavior and pray that Jibril will turn away from it.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Jibril. Lord, we ask that You will open his eyes to the light of Your truth, that You will strengthen him to resist temptation, and that You will guide him to live a responsible and godly life. We pray that he will come to know Jesus Christ as his personal Savior, that he will turn away from his reckless behavior, and that he will become the man You created him to be. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
