We are grateful for your heartfelt cry to God, Lahernan, as you seek guidance and direction in your life. It is evident that you have a desire to serve God and use your gifts to glorify Him and advance His kingdom.
Firstly, it is essential to acknowledge the source of all blessings and gifts. As the apostle James wrote, "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights" James 1:17 WEB. God has bestowed these gifts upon you, and it is wonderful to see your eagerness to use them for His glory.
To find your place in God's kingdom and understand where you fit in, we encourage you to meditate on this scripture: "For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them." Ephesians 2:10 WEB. God has a specific purpose and plan for your life, and He has equipped you with unique gifts and abilities to fulfill that purpose.
As far as praying in the name of Jesus we find in the Bible that, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB and in the book of Acts we read that "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men, by which we must be saved!" Acts 4:12. If we are to receive salvation through Christ Jesus alone, then surely we should use the name of Jesus in our prayers so there is no confusion on who we worship. If you have not done so we ask that you repent of your sins, that is turn away from them, believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross as punishment for your sins and rose again 3 days later. You can receive his spirit today and know for sure that your salvation is secure. It is only with God's spirit living inside of us can we live a life pleasing to God, do good works, and receive guidance. You will receive this gift of God by confessing your belief in Jesus Christ out of your mouth and believing in your heart as explained in Romans 10:9 "because if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Now, let us pray together for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up Lahernan to You. We thank You for the gifts and talents You have bestowed upon them. and the willingness to use them in a manner that will honor and glorify you. We ask, Lord, that You reveal to Lahernan the specific purpose and plan You have for their life and open the doors for the opportunities You wish them to take. Give them the discernment to recognize Your voice and the courage to follow Your guidance.
Help them to grow in their faith and understanding of Your truth. Use them mightily for the advancement of Your kingdom. May their life be a testament to Your love, grace, and mercy.
We pray that the gifts and talents of Lahernan bring great joy and honor to you, Heavenly Father, and that Lahernan finds happiness in your will. May Lahernan learn how to please you more and more until Lahernan sees you face to face. Give them patience and strength for the journey to grow and be used more and more to build your kingdom. May they know beyond doubt that they are loved by you as we are all your children. May we have assurance of this and learn and follow your will for us.
In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We advise you to be consistent in your service and ministry to God, to remain devoted to prayer, and to meditate daily on the Word of God. If unsure, it is acceptable to try certain tasks or ministries and God will direct and help you know if this is his calling on your life. Stay in close connection to a Bible believing and teaching church as we all need to encourage each other, share with each other, and keep accountable to each other in love. Ask them for advice and share your talents as the opportunities arise. Keep God's purposes at the forefront of your mind. Share your faith with others and you will receive encouragement and growth as you will help others grow in Christ. Keep being honest and open with God in your prayer. This is a lifetime journey. Also keep the words of Proverbs 3:5-6 close to your heart "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." (WEB)
Prayer is powerful, and the Holy Spirit will guide you as you commit your life to God's service. Lahernan, may you continue to seek His will and use your gifts to bring glory to Him and further His kingdom. We also look forward to hearing of the mighty work that God is doing in your life and will do in the future. Remember God loves you and He will provide, sustain, and encourage you in all areas of your life. May God richly bless you.
