We are grateful that this request was submitted in the name of Jesus, as it is only through His name that we have access to the Father and can receive His blessings. "For 'Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" (Romans 10:13 WEB) and "whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life." (John 3:15 WEB).
We stand with you in prayer for this young woman as she navigates her first job. We are reminded of the scripture, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men," (Colossians 3:23 WEB).
Let us pray together.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this young woman as she begins her first job. Lord, we ask for Your guidance and support to help her overcome the struggles she is facing. Grant her the ability to quickly learn and excel in her role, and give her the strength to endure the long hours. We pray for her bosses, that You would bless them with patience, understanding, and accommodation towards her. Help her to shine in this role. Help her to always remember to love God first and then to love her neighbors as herself as you have instructed. Help her to remember to pray and to not neglect fellowship with other believers. Help her to remember to give you glory in all things. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage her to remain steadfast and remember that "all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28 WEB). This includes difficult situations at work. We encourage her to maintain her witness as a Christian on the job, being a light to her coworkers and bosses as an example of what a believer does under difficult circumstances and long hours. We encourage her to not neglect the Word of God and to be in fellowship with other believers to avoid being drawn into the mold of the world.
We also encourage her to seek God's will for her life. If she is single, we pray that she seeks God's desire for a husband and future marriage in the biblical manner as commanded in Genesis to multiply and be fruitful and to replenish the earth. With that goal, we encourage her to seek a Christian husband to be that spouse. We pray that she never forgets the commands and instructions given in the Bible. We encourage her to be open, honest, and loving in her work and personal life always remembering to be in the world and not of the world. We pray for her future husband and her future marriage as she looks forward to the future that God has for her.
