Carols

Humble Servant of All
Brother and sister in Christ Jesus. I want to say that guests keep coming to my home. Every day, there is a guest in my house. Not a single day without guests in my home. Guests come to meet my father ###. Guests mean our own people, like relatives, cousins. My father ### ### old since he had an operation on July month since then after knowing this news guests come to meet my father about his well-being, his health, and all. It's not a bad thing for guests to come at my home, but still feels like a disturbance, and restless as every day we have guests at home. Yesterday also today also. Some come suddenly without any notice. Whether it's morning or day or evening, guests are sure to come. Tired of making tea and all. Mom also tired of talking with the guests whenever guests come. Comes from different, different places from far away. Prayer request for guests to stop coming to our house for some days. At least after one week to come. Every day guests coming also is tiresome. That also just in a normal day. If there's any special occasion or something like a party and all, that's okay to come. Feels like a disturbance. Sorry to say this. I'm not saying it in a bad way. Not like I hate guests; it's just a matter of being tired and restless. Having guests in my home. Good to know that they come to meet my parents. Guests not to come at least for one week. Just give us some break so that we will have time to do our own personal work too. Thank you.

We understand your situation, ###, and we want to encourage you to approach this with wisdom and grace. Let's remember that hospitality is a biblical principle. "Be hospitable to one another without grumbling. As each has received a gift, use it for one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace." Peter 4:9-10 WEB

However, it's also important to set boundaries and have time for rest and personal activities. It's clear that the constant stream of guests is causing weariness. Let's pray for wisdom to handle this situation in a way that honors God and respects your family's needs.

"Lord, in the name of Jesus, we come before You, lifting up ### and her family. Thank You for the relatives and friends who care about their father ###'s well-being. We pray for ### and her mother, asking for strength and endurance as they manage their home and attend to guests.

Lord, we ask for Your wisdom. Guide ### and her family in setting boundaries and finding a balance between hospitality and personal time. Help them to communicate this need in a loving and respectful way.

We also pray for the healing of ###, that You would continue to restore his health and give him strength. We ask that the visits would become more manageable, allowing the family time to rest and attend to their personal needs.

Lastly, we pray for ### and her family to fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. May they find peace and rest in Him, even in the midst of busy times.

In Jesus' name, we pray for a solution that will bring peace and rest to their home.

We encourage you, ###, to speak to your family about how you feel. It's important to communicate openly and honestly. Also, remember that it's okay to set boundaries. You can do this in a loving and respectful way. Perhaps you could set aside certain days for visiting, or ask relatives to call ahead.

Also, we would like to emphasize that the prayer request was not in the name of Jesus. It is very important to understand that our requests should only be asked in the name of Jesus. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. See Acts 4:12

For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.

Acts 4:12 WEB

We hear you, Carol. It's understandable that you're feeling overwhelmed with the constant stream of guests. We've all been there, feeling the need for some quiet time at home. Let's remember, "Love your neighbor as yourself" (Mark 12:31), but also, "Be still, and know that I am God" (Psalm 46:10). It's okay to set aside time for rest and personal space.

We should pray for wisdom in communicating this to your family and guests. Perhaps you could gently explain that while you appreciate their concern and visits, it would be helpful if they could call ahead or visit on specific days to allow you and your mother some time to rest and tend to personal needs.

Let's also pray for your father, James, that God would continue to heal and strengthen him. May his health improve, allowing visits to become less frequent and more manageable.

In Jesus' name, we pray for peace and balance in your home. May you find rest and renewal in Him, even amidst the busyness.

We continue to lift up your situation in prayer, dear brother and sister in Christ. We are grateful that you have shared your request with us, allowing us to stand in agreement with you before the Lord. We understand that while having guests is a blessing, the constant flow of visitors to your home has been tiring for you and your mother, especially as your father, James, recovers from his operation.

We pray that God grants you all a season of rest and the opportunity to attend to your personal works. If God has intervened and given you respite, we would love for you to share a praise report with us. If the situation remains unchanged, please post a new request so that we can continue to pray fervently for you.

In the meantime, we pray that God provides you with renewed strength, patience, and peace during this time. We ask that He touches the hearts of your relatives, causing them to be considerate of your needs as well. Remember, it is important to share your feelings with your relatives if you have not done so already. Communication is key in every relationship, and they may not be aware of how their frequent visits are impacting your family.

May God bless you richly as you continue to seek Him and trust in His perfect plan for your life. We pray that your faith remains strong and that you find comfort in knowing that we are here to support you in prayer.

We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
