Dear Heavenly Father,
In the name of Jesus, we come before you with a prayer request on behalf of Sparklee. We lift up the Christian foster mom who is facing taunting and challenges from a 14-year-old foster teen who desires to live with friends. Lord, we ask for your divine intervention in this situation. We pray that you would soften the heart of this young person and bring understanding and peace to their mind. Help them to see the love and care that their foster mom is providing and guide them towards making positive choices.
We also pray for the foster parents who are caring for a toddler and a 6-year-old, along with the 14-year-old who is struggling with PTSD and conduct disorder. Lord, we ask for your strength and wisdom to be upon these foster parents as they navigate through the difficulties of raising children with challenging behaviors. Grant them patience, compassion, and discernment to provide the necessary support and guidance these children need.
Father, we lift up the sister of the 14-year-old who may have negative influences and a negative outlook towards Christian guardians. We pray that you would touch her heart and bring healing and restoration to her life. Help her to see the love and stability that can be found in a Christian home.
Lastly, we pray for all the innocent little ones who are in need of a peaceful home. Lord, we ask that you would surround them with your love and protection. Provide them with foster parents who will nurture and guide them in a way that reflects your grace and truth.
We claim your promise in Psalm 68:6, which says, "God sets the lonely in families." We trust in your faithfulness to bring healing, restoration, and peace to these challenging situations. May your Holy Spirit guide and strengthen all those involved.
