We rejoice with you, Lucy, as you seek to grow in the fruits of the Spirit. Your prayer echoes the words of Galatians 5:22-23, "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking that You fill Lucy with an abundance of Your Holy Spirit. May she overflow with love, joy, and peace. Help her to show patience and kindness to all those around her. Let goodness and gentleness be her trademarks, and may she exemplify faithfulness and self-control. Help her to live a life that points others to You, Lord.
Lucy, as you continue to walk with Christ, remember that these fruits are not something you can produce on your own. They are a result of the Holy Spirit working within you. As it says in Philippians 2:13, "For it is God who works in you both to will and to work, for his good pleasure."
Continue to abide in Christ, as He promises, "Remain in me, and I in you. As the branch canโt bear fruit by itself, unless it remains in the vine, so neither can you, unless you remain in me. I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing" (John 15:4-5 WEB).
Keep seeking the Lord, and He will continue to transform you. If there are any areas in your life that do not align with biblical principles, we encourage you to surrender them to the Lord, trusting that His ways are perfect.
Remember, it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As the Scripture says, "In no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB).
May the Lord bless you and keep you, Lucy. We are praying for you, in Jesus' name. Amen.
