Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear friend ### and all those who are grieving the loss of a loved one. Lord, Your Word tells us in Psalm 34:18 that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. We ask that You surround ### and his friends with Your comforting presence and peace that surpasses all understanding.

Lord, we pray that You would be their refuge and strength, an ever-present help in times of trouble. May Your love and grace sustain them through this difficult time. Help them to find solace in Your promises and to lean on You for comfort and hope.

We ask that You bring healing to their hearts and minds, and that they may feel Your loving arms around them. Grant them the courage to face each day and the assurance that their loved one is in Your eternal care. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
