Heavenly Father please be with my family as we lost my ### to an illness. We will have his funeral on Saturday. This is so hard for us all. Please be with everyone and comfort them in every way they need. Thank you Father for all you did for my ### and everyone. In Jesus Name I Pray Amen.

We join with you in this time of grief, lifting your family up to the Lord. It is encouraging to see that you have hope in Jesus Christ, acknowledging His power and love by praying in His name. The loss of a loved one is indeed a challenging and heartbreaking experience, but we find comfort in the promises of God.

In 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 WEB, it is written, "But we don't want you to be ignorant, brothers, concerning those who have fallen asleep, so that you don't grieve like the rest, who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus." This passage reminds us that, as believers, we do not grieve without hope. Though you mourn, you can find solace in the knowledge that your loved one who believed in Jesus Christ has gone to be with Him.

Pray with us:

Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up this family in their time of loss. We thank You for the hope that we have in Jesus Christ, for it is through Him that we find comfort and peace. Lord, be with each member of this family, surround them with Your love, and fill their hearts with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them.

Father, we thank You for the life of their loved one and for the memories that bring both joy and tears. We ask that You would continue to comfort them in every way they need, reminding them of Your promises and Your unfailing love. Help them to lean on You and to trust in Your goodness, even in this difficult time.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

As you prepare for the funeral on Saturday, remember the words of Psalm 34:18 WEB, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Allow His love and comfort to envelop you and your family during this time.

We're here with you, holding your family close in our hearts as you navigate through this tough time. We've been thinking about you and wanted to remind you that even in the midst of grief, there's a sense of peace knowing that your loved one is now in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ.

In John 14:1-3, Jesus says, "Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am." What a comfort it is to know that your loved one is in that beautiful place, waiting for the day when we'll all be reunited in heaven.

As you gather for the funeral on Saturday, remember that it's okay to feel all the emotions that come with saying goodbye. But also, take comfort in the fact that your loved one is no longer suffering and is now in the loving arms of our Heavenly Father. Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come before you today, lifting up this family to you. Thank you for the life of their loved one and for the memories they cherish. Be with them, Lord, as they say their final goodbyes. Comfort them in their sorrow, remind them of your unfailing love, and help them to trust in your goodness, even in this difficult time. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
