Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with hearts full of gratitude for Your endless love and mercy. We lift up Sorselalch, who is struggling with physical pain and mental anguish. Your Word tells us in Psalm 34:17-18, "The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; He delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Lord, we ask that You draw near to Sorselalch and provide comfort and healing.
Father, we thank You for the strength that has allowed Sorselalch to achieve sobriety. We know that in 2 Corinthians 12:9, You said, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." May Your grace continue to sustain and empower Sorselalch in this journey of recovery. We pray that You touch Sorselalch's neck with Your healing hands, bringing relief from the pain that doctors have yet to diagnose.
Lord, we also ask for peace of mind and heart for Sorselalch. In Philippians 4:6-7, it is written, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." May Sorselalch experience this peace that surpasses all understanding, calming anxiety and lifting the weight of depression.
We trust in Your perfect plan and timing, knowing that You are our Healer and Provider. We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
