We join with you, Anonymous, in lifting up Jeremy and all your people to the Lord, very often, it seems that this is the main will of God in our lives is to know Him, Hope in him, to have Faith in him, and show this by Loving him with all our heart, all our soul, all our mind, all our body, and strength and to love others as ourselves, desiring to live, no longer for ourselves but for Him who died for us Christ Jesus. Only by his death, burial, and resurrection can we even have access to God.
Let's pray the request: Deliver your servant Jeremy, who trusts in you, and hopes in your mercy, and have mercy upon him and show your loving kindness that, Lord, please remember him and protect him, remember us oh Lord, and all your people and the entire body of Christ. We pray this not just is sympathy or our own will, but in the name of Jesus, the Great Shepherd who remembers each one of his sheep that trust in him by name, and by in his will, and in the power of the Holy Spirit. May it be so an answer from our Lord is shown to us tangibly in our lifetimes. Amen
It is only by accepting Jesus as our savior that we can approach God. Jesus himself said I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
Let us also remember the words of Psalm 33:18-19 WEB, "Behold, Yahweh's eye is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his loving kindness; to deliver their soul from death, to keep them alive in famine."
As a group we also remember James 5:16, "...The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective," we discourage against praying to Mary, saints or angels, as the scriptures do not support these actions. Prayer is to be offered to God alone through our intercessor, savior, and High Priest, Jesus the Christ.
Furthermore, we want to also mention a similar story to encourage you about the hope you place in Jesus. In Acts 16:25, about midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. There are no fetters that can bind the soul. And with the salvation of the prison guard we learn of the Power of the mercy of God.
Therefore, let us remember the comforting words of Jesus in John 10:14-15 WEB, ''I am the good shepherd. I know my own, and I'm known by my own; even as the Father knows me, and I know the Father. I lay down my life for the sheep.''
Be encouraged, Anonymous, knowing Jesus. the good shepherd promises to care for Jeremy as one of his sheep that trust in our Savior. Trust in the promises of the Good Shepherd. Know that we are also praying for you as we were directed to pray for each other by our Lord, Jesus Christ.
