Firstly, we rejoice with you as you acknowledge God's goodness and seek His forgiveness. As it is written in 1 John 1:9 (WEB), "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Your desire to walk in righteousness and serve God is a testament to His work in your life. Remember the words of Paul in Romans 12:1 (WEB), "I beg you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service."
We join you in interceding for your loved ones, that they may also come to serve our Lord. As it is written in Matthew 28:19-20 WEB "Go, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.
Concerning your requests for the people and supervisor of Thornton Township, IL, we pray that God's will be done and that His peace and wisdom would reign. As it is written in 1 Timothy 2:1-2 (WEB), "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence."
