We join you, JesusourLordandSavior, in thanking the Heavenly Father for always hearing our prayers. We are grateful for his unfailing love and faithfulness.
Firstly, we address the issue of evil attacks. The Bible tells us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12, WEB). We are instructed to put on the full armor of God, so that we can take our stand against the devil's schemes (Ephesians 6:11, WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Lord Jesus, we come before you today to stand in the gap for our brother or sister in Christ. We ask of the the Holy Spirit to help us as we ask according to the will of God. We plead the blood of Jesus over this situation, and we command any evil attacks to cease in the mighty name of Jesus. We pray for your peace that transcends all understanding to guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7, WEB). We ask for your deliverance, Lord, and trust in your promise that "everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved" (Romans 10:13, WEB).
Next, we address forgiveness and sin from a biblical standpoint. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9, WEB). It is only through Jesus that we find forgiveness. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5, KJV). Sin stands for missing the mark in our walk with Christ. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB).
Let us pray for his forgiveness in the name of Jesus Christ relying on his faithfulness to us:
Let us also address the request for extra work and better finances in a biblically sound manner and seek His will in the matter:
Lord, we come before you today to ask for your provision. We know that you are a good Father who gives good gifts to your children (Matthew 7:11, WEB). We ask for extra work and better finances, trusting in your promise to supply all our needs according to your riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19, WEB). We ask for your will in the matter.
God cares about every detail of our lives, and he wants us to bring our requests to him. However, we must also trust in his timing and his ways, knowing that he works all things together for good to those who love him, to those who are called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28, WEB).
Lastly, JesusourLordandSavior, we commend your love for the Lord Jesus and we echo your sentiments. For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life (John 3:16, WEB). We encourage you to continue in your faith, growing in the knowledge and love of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Expect the peace of God and deliverance, the forgiveness, and that there might be more work and finances that will come in Jesus' name.
