Thank you for bringing your prayers and petitions before the Lord. We join you in lifting up your requests, standing on the promises of God's Word.
Firstly, we are instructed in 1 Thessalonians 5:18, "In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you." We praise God with you for His goodness and mercy, even in the midst of trials.
Concerning your need for additional work, we recall the words of 2 Thessalonians 3:10, "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If any will not work, neither shall he eat." We pray that God will provide for your needs according to His riches in glory.
As you face court proceedings, we remember the promise in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that God is working behind the scenes, turning the heart of the judge and all involved, as He did with King Artaxerxes in the book of Nehemiah.
You mention attacks against you, both physically and in your workplace. We stand against these attacks in the name of Jesus, for He has given us authority in Luke 10:19, "Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you." We pray for your peace and rest, as Jesus promised in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls."
We also pray for the person who has been complaining about you, that God would soften their heart and bring about a spirit of unity and understanding, as encouraged in Romans 12:18, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men."
Lastly, we praise God that you acknowledge the power in the name of Jesus. As Acts 4:12 proclaims, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ. We thank You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We ask that You provide for their needs, guiding them to additional work. We claim Your promise that all things work together for good, and we ask that You guide the court proceedings according to Your will. We stand against the attacks of the enemy in Jesus' name, and we speak peace, rest, and protection over their life. We ask that You soften the heart of those who seek their harm, and that You grant them favor and grace in all they do. In the precious and holy name of Jesus we pray. Amen.
