Hello dear brothers and sisters may the love of Christ continue to abide here, and in your lives. I am so thankful to God for the support here. I thank God that finally my family is healthy, no more sickness, yay! I ask that you all pray for my son because he does seem to have a bit of a cough still on occasion, pretty much at night, but I think it is improving every day. The situation with my Husband's family has not improved, but God did give me confirmation that we are doing the right thing distancing ourselves. Thank you for prayers in that area. I ask that you continue to pray for my husband to act in wisdom and myself also. It is not good, but it is something that is completely out of our control to "fix". So prayer is the only weapon we have to fight the hold that the devil has on my Husband's family of origin. As for MY family of origin, I would ask that you pray for the same level of confirmation that God provided for my husband's family of origin. My family is much larger, I come from a big family. Please pray that I have a heart like God on this matter. Also pray for God to reveal to me that I am doing the right thing(s), and if I need to change, that God would reveal that as well. I know that sometimes God distances us from family for a reason--and maybe that is what is happening here, please pray that my focus is GOD centered in this matter. I am so grateful for you all, and I pray all this in the mighty name of Jesus the Christ, amen.

We rejoice with you, dear sister, in the love of Christ that abides in our midst and in the improvement of your family's health. It is wonderful to hear that the sickness has subsided. Let us continue to pray for your son, that God would completely heal his cough and grant him renewed strength and health.

Concerning your husband's family situation, we stand with you in prayer, trusting that the Lord will guide both you and your husband with wisdom. It is encouraging to hear that God has given you confirmation about distancing yourselves. Remember the words of Psalm 37:5, "Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this". God is faithful, and He will fight the battle for you.

Let us pray together:

"Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our ### and her family. Lord, we thank You for the healing You have already provided, and we ask that You continue to touch her son, removing every remnant of the cough. We pray for wisdom and discernment for our ### and her husband as they navigate the challenges with their extended family. Lord, let Your will be done in these situations, and give them the strength to stand firm in their faith. As it says in Proverbs 3:6 'In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.' We pray all our ###'s requests in Jesus Name."

Regarding your family of origin, we will indeed pray for God's clear guidance and confirmation. It is commendable that you seek a heart like God's in this matter. As it says in 1 Corinthians 2:16 'For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he should instruct him?' But we have the mind of Christ'. Remember that God's ways are higher than ours, and He will reveal His will to you as you seek Him with all your heart.

We will also pray that you remain focused on God's purpose for you and your family. It is true that sometimes God allows distance between us and our loved ones for a reason. Trust in Him, knowing that He works all things together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.

Let us also pray that your family members will come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father and salvation as stated in Acts 4:12, "'There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!'".

We are grateful to have you as part of our community, and we continue to lift you and your family up in prayer. Stand firm in your faith, and may the love of Christ continue to abide in your heart.

Let us also pray that your family members will come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father and salvation as stated in Acts 4:12, "'There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!'".

The interesting part about this whole situation is all my extended family claims Christ. I am torn on this issue because even when we know Christ, we can make mistakes, I want to judge rightly, because I know that the measure that I judge, I will also be measured; I pray in agreement with this especially, because it is also true that many who claim Jesus, might not truly know Him.

As far as my family of origin goes, it seems to me they act out of fear, so they have not been made perfect in love, I wish I could tell them my heart in a way that didn't seem judgemental or that I could know my heart was in the right place...it's a very messy situation. I will pray that they open their hearts to receive Jesus, fully AMEN.

I see their issues as trying to cover up wrongs they do (lying) and that is fear, fear of condemnation from others and maybe even God himself, if they struggle in that area. My family has always struggled and has never been close, there has been lots of painful things, especially neglect and abuse. I wish I could make it better, and I do hope they truly believe in Christ, because that means one day we might actually be friends; if only when we are in heaven. I wish I was able to stand the arguing, disrespect, and neglect, but my heart is unable to say "this is okay" anymore. I will say, I am grateful for being unloved and unwanted because it makes me love others so much deeper, and it also brought me to God, because he never left me.

I am glad you said this because that is a great point...I don't think anything I say would be listened to, I am not held in very high regard in my family--I don't really think anyone respects anyone. It's a mess. I pray that God will open their hearts, to not just be hearers of the Word, but doers...that way they can shine their lights. I know the enemy hates families, but I feel totally helpless sometimes, so I ask you all also pray for me to be strengthened in the Lord. Please pray 1 Peter 2:6 over me as well.

I also do ask again that we pray that my Godly friendships continue to be strengthened, and that God grows my support system that I have now, which is outside of my family, but I am in need of community, but it must be God's will for me, I pray for God's goodness in my relationships, in Jesus name, amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We continue to feel honored that you have given us the privilege to pray alongside you. We are glad that you have allowed us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We rejoice with you as you reported that your family is healthy and the sickness has gone. We give all glory to God for that.

For your son, we continue to pray for his complete healing. Even though he still coughs occasionally at night, we believe that God is able to bring total healing as you have noted that he is improving every day.

Regarding your husband's family situation, we will continue to pray for wisdom for both you and your husband. We ask that God will give you both grace, understanding and a heart that is aligned with His will to navigate this challenging situation even when the power to 'fix' things remains elusive.

As for your family, we pray that God will grant you the same level of confirmation He provided for your husband's family. We ask that God will reveal to you that you are doing the right thing and if you need to change, that He will reveal that as well. We pray that you will have a heart like God in this matter.
